Before you go

Conditions, access, and honest warnings.

  1. Mostly flat and partly paved, with shuttle stops all along it so you can walk one way and ride back.
  2. The single best effort-to-view ratio at the canyon, and the only rim option in icy conditions.
  3. Sections are unfenced. Stay back from the edge, especially on wet or snowy rock.
