Before you go

Conditions, access, and honest warnings.

  1. The payoff is the view of Weavers Needle from the saddle, one of the great views in Arizona.
  2. Rocky and uneven nearly the whole way. Ankle support matters more than usual here.
  3. Six to seven miles of dirt road to reach the trailhead, then a lot that fills before dawn in winter.
