Before you go

Fees, access, and what people get wrong here.

  1. The lot is small and closes when full, often before 10 a.m. in summer. Fees are highest in swim season, roughly May through September.
  2. Water quality is tested regularly and the creek does close on high bacteria counts, check before driving up.
  3. The sandstone chute is genuinely slippery. Old shoes and shorts you do not mind shredding are the local uniform.
