Before you go

Fees, access, and what people get wrong here.

  1. Day-use fee is per person, not per vehicle, which makes it cheap for solo visitors and pricier for families.
  2. This is a nature preserve, so no swimming or wading in Oak Creek and no dogs on the trails.
  3. Ranger-led bird walks run most weekend mornings and are the best introduction to the riparian corridor.
