- Reservations are required and access is by timed, ranger-guided tour only. Walk-ups are turned away.
- The final stretch of Forest Road 795 is unpaved dirt. Passenger cars manage it dry, but not after storms.
- Never touch the rock art. Skin oils permanently damage pigment that has survived a thousand years.
